  Messi hasn't featured in an Inter Miami shirt since June. The Herons sit top of the MLS Eastern Conference, and his return will provide a major boost to their MLS Cup hopes.

  Inter Miami confirmed Messi's return by sharing a video of a young Miami fan in tears about watching her hero. "I want to see Messi. I am his fan, and I want to see,” she says in the video.

  The Herons wrote as the caption: "Cry no more the [GOAT] is back tomorrow."
